Prizes

• 3- $1,000 Prizes: Three (3) winners will receive one-thousand dollars ($1,000), the details of which are included herein.
• $10,000 Grand Prize: One (1) winner will receive ten-thousand dollars ($10,000), the details of which are included herein.

Rules

1. Odds of winning are based on the number of entries received. 
2. Must be 18 years or older to purchase tickets.
3. Contest ends on August 8, 2026. Winners will be selected on the specific dates set forth in all raffle promotions: May 1, June 1, July 1, August 8
4. Participation in the Contest constitutes entrant’s full and unconditional agreement to and acceptance of these Official Contest Rules.
5. Winners will receive an IRS 1099 form for the amount of winnings from Tygart Valley United Way.
6. Should prize be unavailable at the time of awarding Tygart Valley United Way reserves the right to substitute another prize of equal or greater value.
7. Tygart Valley United Way employees and their immediate family members and household members are not eligible to participate. The term “immediate family members” includes spouses, parents, siblings, grandparents, children, grandchildren and cohabiting significant others. 
8. All federal, state, and local laws apply.
9. By entering this contest you authorize Tygart Valley United Way to contact you by phone, automated phone equipment and/or pre-recorded messages, mail, and email.
10. By entering, winner consents to the promotional use of their name and likeness without additional compensation. Winner acknowledges that Tygart Valley United Way shall have the right to use winner’s name, photo, likeness and voice in promoting that he/she is the winner, in print, broadcast, online, digital media, and social media. The prize winner must sign a standard release form providing Tygart Valley United Way with their address, telephone number and email address.
11. Winner and participants expressly agree to release and hold harmless Tygart Valley United Way, their employees and their affiliated companies and organizations, parents, subsidiaries, agents or contractors and their employees, board members, officers, and directors and any others associated with this contest from and against any and all claims, demands, damages, and/or liability of any nature whatsoever that winner and participants have or claim to have relating to the Contest, and without limitation, any and all known or unknown claims for damages or injuries arising out of said contest, including human error involving Contest entries, viruses, bugs, non-authorized human intervention or any other cause related to online entries and print entry forms, whether founded in fact or in law with respect to, or in any way arising from the Contest and/or use of the Prize, including, without limitation, liability for personal injury, damage or loss, in whole or in part, directly or indirectly, from the awarding, delivery, acceptance, use, misuse, possession, loss of any direction of any prize; participation in this Contest or in any activity or travel related thereto or from computer downloading any Contest information.
12. Tygart Valley United Way is the sole judge of all matters pertaining to this contest and reserves the right to change the rules and/or discontinue the contest at any time without notice. All decisions by Tygart Valley United Way are final and binding in all respects.
13. Tygart Valley United Way reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to disqualify any entrant it finds to be tampering with the operation of the Contest or to be acting in violation with these Official Rules.
14. In the event, in the sole judgment of the Tygart Valley United Way, the Contest is compromised by human error, virus, bug, non-authorized human intervention, or any other cause beyond the control of Tygart Valley United Way such that the Contest cannot be conducted as originally planned, Tygart Valley United Way reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to cancel, modify or suspend the Contest by posting a notice to the page on their website at tvunitedway.org. In such event, prize winner will be selected in a random drawing composed of all eligible entries received prior to (and/or after, if appropriate) the action taken by Tygart Valley United Way.
15. No purchase is necessary to enter or win. Free entries defeat the charitable fundraising services and are not encouraged. One free entry per person can be obtained by presenting a written request via postal mail to Tygart Valley United Way, 221 Washington Street, Fairmont, WV 26554, ATT: Big 10 Raffle.
