United Way Elects New Leadership

The Tygart Valley United Way held their annual meeting of the membership virtually on March 26, 2024. During the meeting, leaders elected the officers and new members of the organization’s 2024-2025 Board of Directors.

Christina Gouzd of Keystone Realty will serve as President, Blaire Nuzum-Wise of TCO Land Services, Vice President, Amy Schumacher of Movement Mortgage, Secretary, Jennifer Wade of Conley CPA, Treasurer.

The board elected new members, including:

  • Christy Hines of Performance Chevrolet
  • Kate Garlick of Davis & Elkins College
  • Melanie Thompson of Huntington Banks
  • Blaire Nuzum-Wise of TCO Land Services

Retiring Board members were honored for their service and include: David Nuzum, Rosemary Thomas, and Robert Bolton.

“United Way’s Board of Directors is filled with dedicated individuals who are passionate about helping our community,” said Brett White, Chief Executive Officer. “In particular, United Way has benefited from the tremendous leadership of our retiring board members.
